Join Henley Fork to celebrate the Bristol Sessions, often referred to as the Big Bang of country music. These recording sessions held in 1927 in Bristol, Virginia, made the Carter Family, Jimmie Rodgers, and other early country artists famous. The show re-imagines classic country music from Virginia and North Carolina recording artists from the late 1920s performed on mandolin, fiddle, banjo, guitar, and bass. Henley Fork is Doug Austin, Brian Forsman, and Lynn and Barry Trott.
