If you were to walk through the city of Williamsburg in the late 18th century on a crisp Fall day, when the harvest had been gathered and the chill of winter had not quite set in, you would hear music. Not the strains of classical music fit for the Royal Governor and his Lady Wife, but music of a sort that you might hear at the sort of parties that most of the townsfolk could expect to be invited to. The musicians of Harvest's In, Fiddle's Out will play some of their favorite selections of day-to-day party and dance music for you, while providing context about the traditions of the era.
Weather permitting.
