Celebrate the beauty of summer while learning about the flowers that make the Historic Area garden so special. In this hands-on class, our Horticulturists will teach you how to dry flowers using traditional flower pressing techniques and equipment as well as how to properly arrange and mount previously dried flowers from the Historic Area gardens in a small frame. They will share design tips, techniques, and mechanics to create beautiful and long-lasting floral art pieces. All materials and tools are provided. Each participant will receive their own flower press kit and small frame for mounting flowers which are included in the fee. No floral pressing experience necessary.
Limit of 12 participants. Minimum age is 18. Class will be held off-site at the Landscape Design Studio: 500 Packets Court, Williamsburg VA.
