Guests of all ages will step into the shoes of soldiers enlisting in the army during the American Revolution. Learning the manual of arms and marching drill or cannon drill of the 18th-century soldier, these recruits will experience what life in the army was like during the American Revolution as volunteer recruits in Williamsburg would have done during the war.
Shoulder Your Firelocks! is a participative program. Guests must be able to stand for at least 20 minutes. The program is open to all would-be soldiers ages 6 to 80!
