In the 18th century, Shields Tavern welcomed travelers with global flavors—rum from the West Indies, tea from Asia, and wines from Europe. Once run by the Shields family, it served Williamsburg’s lesser gentry and travelers. Today, it offers an immersive dining experience, perfect for group gatherings and events.
