Juneteenth at Christiana Campbell's Tavern
Christiana Campbell’s Tavern Juneteenth Celebration
Celebrate Juneteenth at Christiana Campbell’s Tavern from June 18–20 with a dinner special offered in addition to the regular dinner menu.
Inspired by Hannah Glasse’s 18th-century cookbook, The Art of Cookery, Made Plain and Easy, this dish reflects the culinary world of the British Atlantic, where foodways were shaped by trade, regional ingredients, and the labor and skill of many cooks, including enslaved and free Black people whose contributions were often unrecorded. In recognition of Juneteenth, this special offers an opportunity to reflect on the people and food traditions that helped shape early American cuisine.
Dinner Special | $44
