Becoming History: Special Juneteenth Edition

Join us for a special Juneteenth presentation of Becoming History, where we explore the art and craft of historical interpretation. This panel discussion will focus on the nuance and complexity of interpreting our shared American past, how we navigate difficult and sometimes painful topics, and find meaning and connection in the inspiring stories of our ancestors. The panel will feature Ayinde Martin, Journeyman Joiner with The Department of Historic Trades, Hannah Bowman, Supervisor of Historic Interpretation, Serena Williams, Performing Arts Actor Interpreter and will be moderated by Dana Tomlin, Chief of Staff, Office of the President for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
