The Social Terrace

Experience an elevated outdoor escape at the Social Terrace, located at the iconic Williamsburg Inn (weather permitting). Blending relaxed luxury with exceptional service, the Social Terrace offers hand-crafted cocktails and a menu of inventive dishes alongside beloved favorites. Gather with friends and family on the spacious patio, where you can unwind to the sounds of a tranquil water feature and take in sweeping views of the Golden Horseshoe Golf Course for a premier al fresco dining experience.

  • At the Social Terrace, we aim to create a comfortable atmosphere for our guests to enjoy al fresco dining. Casual attire is welcome, including shirts, pants, shorts, and dresses. All footwear is permitted, including flip-flops. We also encourage guests to wear sunglasses and hats on those sunny Virginia days for added comfort.

  • At The Social Terrace, we use the same high-quality flour that is featured in our Moonlight Over Williamsburg beer. This connection ensures that our dishes and beverages share the same exceptional taste, creating a unified experience for our guests. Every bite and sip brings together the best of Williamsburg’s culinary heritage.

  • ADA Accessible dining is available at the Social Terrace.

  • At the Social Terrace, we warmly welcome your furry friends to join you for a memorable outdoor experience. To ensure a pleasant environment for all guests, we kindly ask that pet owners pick up after their pets and properly dispose of any mess. Pets must remain on a leash at all times, and we encourage guests to refer to the hotel pet policy for additional guidelines. This ensures everyone can enjoy the tranquil setting.

Meet Our Chef

Executive Chef: Julianne Gutierrez

Julianne Gutierrez, raised in Ephrata, PA, pursued her culinary passion with an Associate’s Degree and a 6,000-hour Colonial Williamsburg apprenticeship. Now Executive Chef, she emphasizes seasonal, local ingredients, drawing inspiration from mentors like Chefs Travis Brust and the Voltaggio brothers. Julianne leads with creativity, hosting events like Tide to Table, and enjoys mentoring her team, cooking seafood and arepas, and spending time with her husband and their three dogs.
