By becoming a member in the Friends of Colonial Williamsburg’s John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library, you can take advantage of a special opportunity to study America’s past and the history of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Whether your passion is rare books and manuscripts, photographs, architectural drawings or the history of the Foundation presented through its archive and media collections, Friends of the Library supports the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library’s staff and its world class collections. Come share your enthusiasm with your fellow members and Colonial Williamsburg's librarians and archivists during behind-the-scenes visits to examine rare and historic documents.
Friends receive a subscription to the quarterly library newsletter and get advance announcements of library exhibitions and select gatherings hosted by our librarians and archivists.
