"Virginians will dance or die" wrote an 18th-century diarist. Prepare to experience one of the favorite pastimes of colonial Virginians. Learn the steps and figures of a variety of 18th-century dances, from country dances to minuets, and discover how they were combined to create an incredible variety of dances. This dance lesson will literally keep you on your toes, so expect to dance the night away!
