A T-shaped chimney now marks the spot of the 18th-century meeting place of the "ancient and loyal Society of free and accepted Masons." Members of the Williamsburg chapter included such notable figures as Peyton Randolph, Peter Pelham, Bishop James Madison, St. George Tucker, and James Monroe. This building was reconstructed in 1931.
