The recently formed Early Music Chamber Orchestra, Bruton Baroque, continues its season “The Grand Tour” with a program from Germany on Saturday, November 9, 2024. This program features J.S. Bach's Wedding Cantata, BWV 202, presented by baroque oboist William Thauer, soprano Lauren Clay, baroque violinists Sophie Genevieve Lowe & Susannah Livingston, baroque violist Jane Lenz, baroque cellist Ryan Lowe, and harpsichordist & organist Rebecca Davy. This is the second of a 4-concert series, with subsequent performances on April 5, 2025 and June 14, 2025.
In order to bring professional early music performers to our community there will be a ticket cost of $20 per concert. Tickets available at the door or in advance on the church's website, www.brutonparish.org.
Parking near the Historic Area is recommended. If you plan to park at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center, please check the bus schedule.
